Android Emulator Interaction QA
Use adb to launch an app, drive UI flows, inspect the UI tree, and collect screenshots/logcat for Android QA.
Skills
Use to reproduce UI issues or validate feature flows in an emulator. Choose a serial with `adb devices`, build and install the target Gradle variant, then navigate with adb input events. Confirm actual state through UI-tree inspection and screenshots, and collect logcat for the same step. Record launch command, device, build variant, and findings; report reproduction steps rather than treating one screenshot as full coverage.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- A buildable Android project, Android SDK/platform tools, running emulator, and adb; no production device is needed.
Permissions
- Builds and installs the app, changes emulator state, sends UI inputs, and captures logs. Do not use it to transact or sign in to production accounts on a real device.
Limitations
Targets emulators; hardware behavior, push notifications, or secure input may still require device-specific testing.
