Cloudflare cf CLI: inspect command schemas before execution
Use the beta CLI to find API commands, inspect parameters, and preview execution.
Skills
Confirm the project needs `cf` rather than existing Wrangler; if another `cf` shadows it, use the installed `cloudflare` alias. Check Node version, `cf --version`, and `cf auth whoami`. Find commands with `cf cli search`, inspect using `cf schema`/`--help`, and dry-run unfamiliar commands. The CLI is beta and output/commands change. Global installation, login, resource management, and `cf deploy` need explicit authorization and confirmed account/environment/impact.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- Use Cloudflare’s beta `cf` CLI for API/resource and Worker commands.
Permissions
- Sign-in, schema search, dev/deploy, and resource commands can affect an account.
Limitations
Requires Node 22.18+; credentials are separate from Wrangler. Inspect search/schema/help and dry-run; get approval for install, auth, or production deploy.
