Python App Service: deploy code after confirming framework and subscription
Select azd or az CLI based on azure.yaml and configure startup by framework.
Skills
Inspect repo, framework, lockfile, `azure.yaml`, and subscription. Confirm deployment was requested and present the RG, P0v3 Linux plan, Python 3.14 app, and region to create/reuse. Follow the azd or az CLI path. For FastAPI use `python -m uvicorn main:app --host 0.0.0.0` and set `SCM_DO_BUILD_DURING_DEPLOYMENT=true`. Never use deprecated `az webapp up`; deploy by zip or azd per source. After deployment, provide the required URL/message and stop—do not run curl, log tail, or health probes.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- Deploy Flask, Django, or FastAPI code to Azure App Service Linux.
Permissions
- May create resource group/plan/app, set startup, and deploy an app package.
Limitations
Deployments incur cost and change live services; confirm scope first and do not probe after deploy.
