Migrate to Codex: inspect first, write to the selected target
Review Claude configuration surfaces, plan the move, then validate Codex artifacts.
Skills
Migrate only the sources and target selected by the user. Start with `--scan-only`, `--plan`, and `--doctor` to inventory instructions, skills, hooks, MCP configuration, and agents, then read the migration-differences guide. Dry-run first and inspect planned paths under AGENTS.md, `.agents/skills/`, `.codex/config.toml`, hooks, and agents. Create or update those Codex files only in the selected target; `--replace` may delete orphaned generated artifacts, so confirm before using it. Do not edit `.claude/` source files, credentials, or another repository. Review the report and `--validate-target`, fix actionable Codex-side issues, and rerun checks; flag plugins or behavior that need manual migration.

Prerequisites
- The user has selected the Claude source and Codex target; scan inputs and produce a plan first.
- The migrator covers instructions, skills, hooks, MCP config, and agents; clarify whether generated artifacts may be replaced or removed.
Permissions
- May read selected Claude surfaces and create or update migrated artifacts under the chosen AGENTS.md, `.agents/skills/`, or `.codex/` target.
- `--replace` can delete orphaned generated artifacts; source `.claude`, secrets, and unrelated repositories remain out of scope.
Limitations
Review plugins or behavior flagged for manual judgment. Dry-run, validate each target, and compare the resulting configuration with the report.
