Receiving code review: verify feedback before implementing
Check each review suggestion against code, compatibility, and the user’s architecture decisions.
Skills
Read the full review and restate each request in your own words. Check it against current code, tests, platform compatibility, and existing architectural decisions. Treat feedback as a proposal to verify, not an instruction to follow blindly. If it is technically unsound, explain with evidence; if scope is unclear or cannot be verified, pause and ask. For multiple items, handle blockers and security issues first, then simple fixes, then larger refactors. Validate each change and check for regressions. When replying to an inline GitHub review, use the matching comment thread rather than posting a new top-level comment.
