Audit dependency trees and breaking changes, then upgrade incrementally with rollback points.

Record direct/transitive versions, duplicates, and security issues; read CHANGELOG/MIGRATION and map compatibility across framework, compiler, and test libraries. Upgrade one major dependency or a tightly coupled set at a time, inspect lockfile changes, and run unit/integration/visual/end-to-end checks. Trace peer conflicts through the dependency tree instead of forcing installation; preserve a reproducible rollback and define auto-merge limits for Renovate/Dependabot.
