Choose an installed converter by file type, preserve the original, and validate output.
Skills
Identify the input type, size, and installed local tools before choosing a converter for image, audio, video, document, or data formats. Work on a copy and set relevant options such as encoding, resolution, sample rate, or page layout. Record the tool version and output path, reopen the result, inspect metadata/content integrity, and compare it with the original; report missing tools or corrupt formats instead of merely changing an extension.
