Zoom Meeting SDK: ios
Embed Zoom meetings on ios with its platform SDK, auth, and join/leave lifecycle.
Skills
Use only for actual Zoom Meetings, not custom video sessions. Read the platform start guide, lifecycle workflow, join pattern, and reference map, then implement SDK initialization, signature/auth, join, and cleanup. On web, distinguish full-page Client View from embedded Component View and generate signatures on a backend; on Android/iOS, validate permissions, native builds, and device lifecycle. Never embed SDK secrets or auto-join production meetings. On iOS, follow the iOS SDK start guide and native reference for meeting-service lifecycle. Check Info.plist privacy usage descriptions and audio-session setup, then test interruptions, app suspension, and resume instead of copying Web event-listener patterns.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- A configured Zoom Meeting SDK app for ios; use a backend for signatures on web.
Permissions
- Can build a client that joins live meetings; the app is responsible for participant consent and recording/privacy settings. Do not create or join production meetings without approval.
Limitations
Covers only the ios client; verify SDK release and account entitlements separately.
