Zoom Realtime Media Streams
Process meeting or Contact Center media as a backend real-time stream and decide whether a visible bot is needed.
Skills
Identify whether media comes from Meetings RTMS, Contact Center voice, or another documented RTMS source. Decide whether server-side streaming is enough or a Meeting SDK bot is needed for visible participant identity. Design connection, audio/video/event consumption, latency, and secure storage. Validate authorization, start, and recovery with a test meeting; do not use RTMS to bypass bot visibility or meeting policy.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- A Zoom app with RTMS enabled, defined media source, backend receiver, and developer-account access.
Permissions
- Processes participant media/audio/transcripts in real time and may store it. Obtain consent and set retention; do not start a live session or recording without authorization.
Limitations
RTMS and Meeting SDK bots have different capabilities/identity; available sources/events depend on app enablement.
