Pin an inference region for regulated workloads

Goal

Set a verifiable model region for a Managed Agent and handle session-specific exceptions.

Steps

1. In the Managed Agents production guide, confirm geography is set on the agent model definition and that the workspace enables the required inference regions. [operate]
2. Create the agent with client.beta.agents.create(..., model={"id": MODEL, "inference_geo": "us"}); the field accepts only global or us, and the value must be included in workspace allowed_inference_geos. [operate]
3. After saving the agent, create a controlled test session and run one turn. Then narrow the workspace allowlist and verify that both a new session and the next turn of an active session are refused. [operate]
4. If one session needs another allowed region, use agent_with_overrides in sessions.create for that session without changing the shared agent; retain the configuration, approver, and test evidence. [operate]

How to verify

The model field uses only `global` or `us` within the workspace allowlist; allowed-region tests succeed and session behavior after allowlist narrowing matches the guide.

Troubleshooting

If region validation fails on agent save, session creation, or a turn, check workspace `allowed_inference_geos`; narrowing it affects new sessions and subsequent turns in active sessions.
