Set Up Boltz CLI and Authentication
Install or verify the Boltz CLI and configure sign-in when needed.
Skills
Use when `boltz-api` is missing from PATH, the version is unsuitable, or authentication fails: inspect the installation, install or update only within the user-approved scope, then use device-code login and verify the session. This changes the local environment and may store a token; it enables later calls but does not submit a scientific job.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- A terminal allowed to write to the chosen install location; sign-in requires a browser and a Boltz account.
Permissions
- Install/update writes to the selected user environment. Device-code sign-in starts OAuth and saves authentication state. Never print, copy, or commit access tokens.
Limitations
Verify executable provenance, installation scope, and sandbox policy before setup. Signing in does not authorize a billable job.
