Design Protein Binder Candidates with Boltz
Submit a target and design constraints to Boltz to generate protein, peptide, or antibody binder candidates and monitor the job.
Skills
Use only when the user wants new protein, peptide, antibody, or nanobody binders; it is not for screening existing proteins or small molecules. Check target sequence, chain, and user constraints, choose the Boltz design command/options, then record the job ID and retrieve results through the status workflow. Generated structures are computational candidates, not experimentally validated or ready for therapeutic use.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- The `boltz-api` CLI installed and authenticated; a target sequence and authorization to send it to Boltz’s cloud service.
Permissions
- Sends target sequence/constraints to an external service and starts a potentially billable compute job; do not send confidential data or start a run without user authorization.
Limitations
Results depend on model and compute conditions and need expert structural and experimental evaluation; the skill cannot prove binding.
