Azure quotas: compare regional capacity and usage

Query limits by subscription, provider, and region; request increases only with confirmation.

Skills

Confirm the subscription ID, provider namespace, region, and Azure resource-name mapping. Install `az extension add --name quota` if needed. Use `az quota list/show` and `az quota usage show` to compare limit and consumption; for regional comparisons, query the same resource family in each region and bound the output. Submit `az quota update` only when the user explicitly requests an increase, after showing the scope, resource name, and target value; then inspect the request status. Registering the `Microsoft.Quota` provider also changes subscription state and needs authorization. Use the capacity estimate to size the request, then check its status to confirm Azure’s decision.

Limitations

Check current limits/usage and regions first; show the requested increase and obtain explicit confirmation before submitting it.
