Azure resource visualization: build an evidence-backed scoped map
Discover resources in scope, annotate types/regions/links, and generate a diagram and notes.
Skills
Confirm subscription and resource group. Use Azure MCP or `az` read-only inventory and record query time, type, region, ID, and supported dependencies. Separate API/config evidence from inference; do not invent traffic paths. Generate Mermaid/SVG per the source format with scope and regions in the heading; leave unknowns blank and list limitations. Confirm the file path before writing. Do not change cloud resources; report permission gaps.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- Turn Azure resource groups and dependencies into a reviewable architecture diagram.
Permissions
- Reads resource metadata in scope and writes a diagram file.
Limitations
Diagram is a point-in-time snapshot; label scope and gaps; it is not complete traffic proof.
