Notion research: synthesize multiple pages into a cited report
Search and fetch evidence first, then draft a brief, comparison, or deep report.
Skills
Search Notion for source material and confirm scope if results are ambiguous. Fetch the relevant pages, extract claims, metrics, constraints, and dates, and record source URLs or page IDs using the citation guide. Organize findings around the user’s decision question, flag evidence gaps and contradictions, and choose a quick brief, summary, comparison, or comprehensive report template. Create a Notion page with an executive summary, findings, supporting evidence, recommendations, and references. When updating an existing report, add a concise change note. Creating or updating a page writes to the external workspace, so confirm destination and access first.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- For briefs, comparisons, or reports synthesized from multiple Notion pages; confirm scope and decision question first.
- Requires search/read access and a confirmed destination for the new document.
Permissions
- May read multiple source pages and create or update a cited document in Notion.
- External workspace writes and OAuth/MCP setup must stay within user authorization.
Limitations
Search first, fetch pages supporting conclusions, and record links/IDs, contradictions, dates, and evidence rather than treating snippets as source text.
