Playwright CLI: drive a real browser from fresh DOM snapshots
Use an open/snapshot/interact/resnapshot loop with fresh element refs.
Skills
Check that `npx` exists and locate the skill’s `playwright_cli.sh` wrapper; if missing, follow the source setup instructions rather than pretending it works. Open the authorized URL, take a snapshot, and use refs from that snapshot for clicks, typing, or keys. Resnapshot after navigation or major UI changes because refs go stale. Capture screenshots/traces as evidence. Confirm authorization before production submissions, purchases, or deletions. This CLI workflow does not create Playwright test files.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- Automate a real browser from the CLI for navigation, forms, snapshots, screenshots, and UI debugging.
Permissions
- Can open pages and interact; confirm intent before web actions that submit or mutate data.
Limitations
Check npx, the wrapper, and authorized URLs; do not convert to a test framework unless requested.
