Playwright Interactive: reuse one session for local functional and visual QA
Reuse page handles against a QA inventory of controls, states, viewports, and edge paths.
Skills
Confirm `js_repl` is enabled and work from the target project directory. Install Playwright dependencies only with authorization to modify package files. Create a QA inventory, start the local server, initialize Chromium/browser/context/page once, and reuse handles. Test normal user input functionally, then do a separate visual pass at narrow/wide viewports and key states. Reload after renderer-only edits; relaunch for startup changes. Reset only after handle loss/process ownership changes. Before signoff check screenshots, viewport fit, and at least two non-happy paths.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- Use persistent js_repl Playwright handles for iterative local web or Electron debugging and QA.
Permissions
- May install npm dependencies and start a local server/browser.
Limitations
Requires js_repl and the source-described unsandboxed setup; map controls/states to checks and retain handles.
