Correlate traces, key metrics, and topology views to diagnose mesh latency.
Skills
Confirm Istio telemetry and workload labels, then collect traces, latency, error rate, request volume, and resource metrics at ingress and between services. Correlate trace IDs with logs and set sampling/retention. Use Grafana/Kiali views to inspect topology, retries, and tail latency by service/version. Validate a known request end to end, keep label cardinality bounded, and measure telemetry overhead.

Limitations
