WCAG 2.2 audit: combine scans with manual checks
Apply POUR principles to prioritize accessibility defects and define verifiable remediation.
Skills
Start from WCAG 2.2’s perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust principles, then scan the selected pages and components for common defects. Manually check keyboard paths, visible focus, semantic HTML, non-color cues, and zoom; record reader behavior that automation cannot cover, then rank findings with reproduction steps and fixes.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- A runnable site/component and target conformance level; automated checks supplement manual testing.
Permissions
- May inspect the target DOM/accessibility tree and exercise controls; code changes stay within approved scope.
Limitations
Automated tools cannot establish full WCAG conformance or replace disabled-user testing or legal review.
