Microsoft Foundry: select a workflow and gate resource changes
Route to the matching sub-skill for create, deploy, invoke, evaluate, or troubleshoot.
Skills
From the skill root, first run the platform-specific `./scripts/check-and-setup-dependencies.sh` or `.ps1`, wait for completion, and follow its output. Identify the requested workflow and read its exact sub-skill document. Before Foundry MCP operations, call the Azure MCP `foundry` tool to discover available tools and parameters. Before any `azd` command, read `foundry-agent/azd-guidance` and follow its user-agent rules. Show scope and data/cost impact and obtain authorization before creating agents, deploying models, changing RBAC/resources, or using production traces in evaluations. Use the validate sub-skill only when the user explicitly requests it.
Permissions
Prerequisites
- For creating, developing, evaluating, deploying, or troubleshooting Microsoft Foundry agents/models.
- The required dependency check runs first; read the matching workflow sub-skill before its tools.
Permissions
- May create resources/agents, deploy models, change RBAC, run evaluations, or upload datasets/traces.
- Foundry MCP and azd act on an Azure subscription; provisioning, access changes, and production-data uploads need explicit authorization.
Limitations
Run `check-and-setup-dependencies` first, discover Foundry MCP tools, then read that workflow’s document. Invoke the validate sub-skill only when requested.
